Hi Matt,

Sounds like you need a holiday after the last couple of weeks! I'm no Tennis fan but I could appreciate that final, but I suppose that's what you get for wearing a cardy. Must make a hell of a difference to be able to take a big position knowing you can get out of it, even for a loss, going back to the ATP treadmill after that must take a big adjustment and a bit of care. As a point of interest, I've always wondered where the liquidity for the run of the mill Tennis tournaments come from - especially weekdays, is alot from the continent? I'd guess theres plenty of UK traders but these markets always need casuals to inject the winnable money in.

Anyway good luck and enjoy your profits, Nick....

Hi Matt, just wanted to thanks for posting up some superb articles - one that stands out for me is the 'becoming a professional gambler' post - which I think perfectly captures the loneliness of pursuing gambling as a career option. Your insightful articles certainly help to keep me inspired when a series of results aren't going my way.

Thanks also for the book recommendations, imho Buchdahl & Taleb are essential reading.
